There’s a whole-ass industry built on making you feel behind…

You’ve felt it. You open an app to post and twenty minutes later you’re convinced you need a new content pillar strategy, a 7-part funnel, a lead magnet, a tripwire, a webinar and a liver transplant.

So you don’t post and now you feel worse than when you started. Fun.

That’s not an accident. That’s a product.

A lot of marketing advice isn’t designed to help you. It’s designed to make you feel like you’re doing it wrong, so that someone can sell you the right way (their way). Fear is a great sales tool.

“You’re invisible”

“The algorithm changed again”

“If you’re not doing this one thing, you’re losing money every single day you idiot”

It works because it’s scary, and scared people buy things.

Guess what…the things that work are kind of boring.

Show up consistently (builds trust!)

Talk to real people like they’re real people. (creates community!)

Be clear about what you do and who it’s for. (educates!)

Post the thing even when it’s not perfect. (connects!)

Follow up with the person who asked about your services instead of waiting for them to chase you. (nurtures!)

Repeat for longer than feels comfortable*.

*For most people “comfortable” is a few weeks. Honestly, when you look back at most peoples “I’ve been posting consistently, it’s actually only a few weeks before they gave up.” How are you supposed to let people know you exist, make friends + build community in only a few weeks?

There’s no secrets or hacks. There’s just a clear message and the willingness to keep showing up when it’s quiet.

I’ve been doing this for fifteen years. I manage social media for real businesses, run by real people, most of whom are juggling a business and a life that does not pause for content.

The ones who see results are never the ones with the most complicated strategy. They’re the ones who stopped letting fear-based noise talk them out of the simple things that work.

So if you’ve been feeling behind, I want to offer you a different read. You’re probably just overwhelmed by people whose job it is to make you feel that way.

Whie I absolutely love it, I have the unfortunate pleasure of working in this field, where I get to tell you that the thing I sell helps you but also try not to sound like those other people trying to sell to you…

If you want someone to look at what you’re doing and tell you the truth about what you’re doing, what’s working, what to drop, what tactics are just noise, that’s what a discovery call with me is for*.
*I used to work for GoodLife fitness, I had the absolute worst sales numbers on the team. I’m not selling anything ever.

I truly beleive in the power of a conversation and connection. If you take that one call and run with it, making fun, inspiring, connecting content that skyrockets your business to new heights, amazing. I am so happy for you. If you want more help through coaching or Scroll Stoppers sessions, I look forward to seeing you there, too.

Book a consultation with me when you’re ready.
