un/rooted was born out of a shared desire to build a community that understands the life of a military spouse entrepreneur.

We know what it's like to move frequently, to start over, and to juggle family and business. This space is about creating stability and support amidst all that change. Our mission is to provide a flexible, supportive environment where military spouses can share resources, learn from each other, and grow their businesses together.

    I’m a digital strategist, content coach, and the founder of Waiting On West—a quietly bold business built around helping women reclaim their time and run things on their own terms.
    I spent years carving out my own work-from-anywhere life, and I know so many others are doing the same—or dreaming of it.
    un/rooted grew from a shared idea: what if we had a place to shape, support, and connect with other Canadian military spouses building something of their own… but doing it together?
